stop getting passed in turns by fixing this one mistake

I wish I figured this out many years ago…

I can vividly remember getting passed in turns. At the time I didn’t know how it was happening.

It felt like I went into a turn and was on the limit of traction. How was another rider sneaking inside of me in a turn and not sliding out?!

Years later… I finally figured out I was waiting too long to start my initial turn. I would ride straight into a berm and then turn. By the time I turned, I had already ridden a longer distance than I needed to. I also needed to make a sharper turn than if I gradually turned in sooner and then did my harder turning when I was farther into the berm.
